Tablet Market Continues To See Gains
Research group IDC reported Tuesday that the market for tablet computers is exploding, mostly due to demand for the iPad. During the third quarter of 2010, manufacturers shipped 4.8 million tablets around the world, which is up 45 percent from 3.3 million in the same period last year.
